MK 803 Product Planning and Strategy (Spring: 3)
Prerequisite:
MK 705 or MK 721 and at least one other marketing elective
Designed for students interested in careers in product/brand management,
planning, marketing research, or sales management. Exposes students to the
product development process and the key elements in effective market planning
through lectures, cases, guest speakers, and a term project. Students work
in teams and are assigned to live companies—new ventures or established
firms—that require assistance in preparing marketing plans for their
service, consumer product, or industrial product.
