MK 168 International Marketing (Spring: 3)
Prerequisite:
MK 021
As more and more United States companies expand their marketing efforts
into international markets, it is increasingly important for them to develop
skills in the evaluation of the risks and opportunities based on a genuine
knowledge of foreign cultures and business practices. The international
marketer needs to understand how the people in different countries respond
to marketing efforts. The main objective of this course is to provide students
with a basic understanding of the international marketing environment and
the critical elements involved in entering and competing effectively in
selected foreign markets.
