EN 617 Advanced Poetry Workshop (Spring: 3)

Admission by permission of Instructor only.
A workshop for those who already have some experience writing poetry, and who wish to develop matters of craft and revision. Students will produce roughly one poem a week and 1-2 revisions. We will explore traditional forms as well as free verse. In addition to a book review, there will be a final chapbook of at least eight revised poems produced over the semester and culled from 15-20 drafts produced in and out of class.
