BI 304 Cell Biology (Fall/Spring: 3)
Prerequisite:
BI200
This course is designed to provide students with a strong foundation in
the molecular biology of the cell. Topics covered in the course include
cellular biochemistry, regulation of gene expression, subcellular organization,
regulation of the cell cycle, membrane trafficking, cell-substrate interactions,
cytoskeleton, cancer, and cell signaling. It serves as excellent preparation
for more advanced courses in cell biology, molecular biology, developmental
