At the EPC meeting on September 19, 2005, the following motion was approved by unanimous vote:

It is moved that the EPC identify the incoming chair of the EPC in the final spring meeting of the academic year for the term of the following year. It is further moved that this person be a current member who will be returning to the EPC for the second year of service. Preference is that the Chair of the EPC shall be an Associate or Full Professor and not be serving as a Department Chair. This motion will take effect in spring 2006.
