Prior to his arrival at Boston College, Ruiha He was a postdoctoral fellow at the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. He aims to understand the complex behaviors of electrons in solids that are beyond the textbook description. His group at Boston College performs x-ray spectroscopy, scattering, and imaging experiments on materials at variable length scales in order to obtain insights about the microscopic mechanisms underlying electron behaviors.
