Viola Benavente

Viola Benavente's clinical background is in cardiovascular health. After receiving her Ph.D., she was selected to be one of only three postdoctoral scholars by the University of Washington School of Nursing where she studied biobehavioral theory and methodology. Her research interests include cardiovascular health disparities among Latinas and other Hispanics, as well as heart disease prevention and treatment.
