Parking : Entering the Brighton campus from Lake Street, just up the hill one sees the building clearly marked as 3 Lake Street. The parking spaces first encountered are reserved for those who work in that building. Members of the Association of Retired Faculty may park past those spaces and over the hill behind the School of Theology and Ministry.
Permits are required for all members who have not purchased parking stickers from the university. At each program meeting, a parking permit will be distributed for the next meeting. This permit is to be displayed on the dashboard of the car so as to be observable to the BC parking police. Should you fail to obtain a permit for any meeting, the Parking Office supervisor can be contacted at 617-552-0151. You can request that a parking permit be provided for you by the parking attendant at the St Ignatius parking gate.
If there are no available parking spots, arrangements have been made for retired faculty to park in certain areas of the Commonwealth Garage for scheduled BCARF meetings and events. The first twenty minutes are free, then $3 for each additional hour, payable upon exiting the garage. If desired, a retiree may also purchase a āGā permit for the year.
