Computing Services
The Campus Technology Resource Center (CTRC), located in O'Neill Library, Room 250, is Boston College’s major computing lab on campus. The facility includes a technology Help Desk (in Room 248) as well as 96 Windows computers, 14 Apple computers, 6 printers, 3 scanners, 8 e-mail stations, 2 music stations, and areas for using personal laptops. Within the lab, users have access to a wide variety of software applications and high speed access to the internet. Valid BC ID required.
Religious Services
Liturgy is offered on class days in St. Mary’s Chapel at noon, and in the Church of St. Ignatius at 12:15 and 5:30 p.m., on Saturday at 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Sunday vigil, and on Sunday at 8a.m., 10 a.m., 12 noon and 5:30 p.m.
The Campus Ministry Office is located in McElroy 215. A complete listing of local clergy and detailed information on religious services of many faiths is available there.
Thomas P. O'Neill, Jr. Library
The Thomas P. O'Neill, Jr. Library contains over a million volumes and nearly 17,000 serial subscriptions. Summer students are encouraged to get to know the library resources quickly. The Guide to the Boston College Libraries is available at the library reference desk. All registered summer students are granted full library privileges with their identification card.
Dining Facilities
Boston College’s meal plan may be purchased with a minimum deposit of $100; any unused balance is fully refundable. Apply via B.C.' s Agora website. For additional details telephone (617) 552-3500.

Campus recreation
The William J. Flynn Recreation Complex is the focal point for athletic activities and recreation. The Recreation Complex contains: jogging track, indoor and outdoor tennis courts, basketball courts, volleyball courts, racquetball and squash courts, 8-lane 25 yard lap pool with separate diving well, heated spa, changing room and saunas. We also have an outdoor patio with tables, chairs and lounge chairs for sunbathing. Our fitness area includes a wide variety of cardiovascular machines,a full compliment of free-weights, and full line of selectorized strength training equipment. We offer several group exercise classes including yoga and cycling. Fitness trainers on staff can help with your program. Enjoying these facilities with those who share similar academic interests adds another dimension to summer study.
A BC ID is required to use the Recreation Complex. Summer students may purchase membership for unlimited Complex use. If summer membership is not desired, daily access to the Complex is available with a BC ID and paying a $5 fee at the door. Parking
A patrolled and well-lighted parking area is available to students on lower campus. Students that are taking classes or working on campus can purchase a permit at $17.00 per week or aproximately $230.00 for the whole summer. Permits will be available at Student Services on 5-17-10. The permit will be valid until 8-20-10. Students obtain parking permits at the service center at Student Services in Lyons Hall. For more information see the BC Transportation and Parking website.
Health Services
The University Health Service Clinic is located in Cushing Hall. It is open Monday through Thursday from 8:30 to 4:30 p.m.; Friday 9 to 3 p.m. The clinic provides emergency treatment of minor injuries or illness and willingly acts as liaison with community doctors for any help necessary which the clinic cannot provide. Campus Store
The bookstore is the place for textbooks, bestsellers, study aids, stationery, college supplies, gifts, B.C. clothing and small items such as newspapers and snacks. The bookstore is located on the first floor of McElroy Commons and it may be reached by telephoning (617)552-3520 or 1-800-978-0978. It is open Monday through Thursday 9 to 6:30 p.m.; Friday 9 to 3 and Saturday 9 to 5.
The Hillsides Shop located on lower campus at 21 Campanella Way is open Monday through Friday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday noon to 5 p.m.
