Registration

summer session 2014 - Registration opens April 14, 2014.

Application is not required for Summer Session courses, but you must register in order to attend summer classes. For summer session students, there are two registration options:

Students may register in person at the Summer Session Ofice located in McGuinn 100. The office is open from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Friday. To register at the Summer Session Office, complete a registration form with your course selections and submit payment by check, or via the Agora portal by e-check. No credit cards are accepted.

Students may also register by mail. To register by mail, print out a registration form (link below), complete it with your personal information and course registration information, and mail it to the Summer Session Office, McGuinn 100, Boston College, Chestnut Hill, MA 02467, with full payment attached. (Payment is by check only.) You will receive a receipt of your registration and a New Student Information form after the Summer Session office has processed your registration.

The Office of Student Services releases certain personally identifiable information from a student’s registration without prior consent such as name, home address, telephone number, date and place of birth, photographs, field of study, dates of attendance and other similar information. To prevent release of such information a student should submit a written nondisclosure request to the Office of Student Services.

Registration in summer courses establishes no priority with respect to admission to Boston College degree programs. A student seeking admission for a degree in one of the Boston College undergraduate colleges must apply directly for degree status.

* * ATTENTION BC DAY STUDENTS:
To register for summer courses, you must obtain written permission from your Dean (A&S, CSOM, LSOE, CSON) and/or Department by completing the Course Substitution & Waiver Form (found on the Student Services website). Once approval is received, you may register for summer courses at Student Services in Lyons Hall. Tuition will be charged directly to your student account.

Woods College Students - Registration Procedure

Rather than submitting your registration by mail, or coming to Woods College in person, you may now register by telephone with the Student Services Office in Lyons Hall.

Have your Eagle number ready and call the Student Services Office at 617-552-3300 or at 800-294-0294.  Tell the Student Services staff member you are a Woods College student and are registering for summer courses.  Give your Eagle number and course selections (course numbers) to the staff member, who will register you for your courses. Tuition will be charged to your student account.

For Student Services hours of operation, use the link below to visit their website:

All students in a degree program are required to meet with an academic advisor in the Woods College prior to registering.  To make an advising appointment, please call 617-552-3900. Advising appointments are available during day or evening hours.

SPECIAL STUDENTS (non-Boston College students; those NOT in a BC degree program)

Non-BC students come to the Summer Session office in McGuinn 100 to register for summer courses, or register by mail (see information above).  Payment MUST be by check or E-check only; no credit cards accepted.
