Vatican II and the New Evangelization

stm summer institute

file

50 years after the Second Vatican Council, the church has embarked on a Year of Faith, focusing on missionary activity to regions of the world historically known as Christian lands. This process has been named the "New Evangelization," and its implementation will have far-reaching effects on the 21st century church. Because of their importance, the School of Theology and Ministry's Summer Institute has decided to highlight Vatican II and the New Evangelization as this year's Summer Institute Theme.
