This celebration of the feast day of St. Mary of Magdala begins with Mass, followed by lunch and a lecture offering a review of recent scholarship on Mary Magdalene. Sr. Hinsdale will discuss what we can say historically about Mary Magdalene, some possible explanations for her disappearance from our ecclesial memory, and the implications that recovering a “Magdalene tradition” might have for our ecclesial conversations on the role of women in the Church.

This event is at full capacity and registration is now closed.  The lecture will be videotaped and can be viewed at after August 22.
