Hope in a Wintery Season

LECTURE

October 14, 2010.

Rev. Michael J. Himes, professor of theology, Boston College Theology Department

Hope, which should never be confused with optimism, is much more about the present than the future.  This lecture discusses how it is not a matter of keeping one's fingers crossed about tomorrow, but rather of remaining attentive to today.

Cosponsored by the School of Theology and Ministry and the Boston College Alumni Association
