The university is currently seeking an energetic, collaborative, student-centered individual for the position of Director of Campus Ministry. The Director provides pastoral leadership for worship, prayer, programs and services through which students integrate their faith life with their personal and civic life.

The Director serves as a senior member of the student life division and is responsible for the operation of the Campus Ministry department. Primary responsibilities include creating an inviting pastoral presence and enhancing the presence of ministry for students of all faiths; planning and leading mission/service trips; articulating the Catholic faith tradition and culture with special attention to Catholic Social Teaching; social justice and the BVM history, traditions and values; and coordinating events and retreats. This position is also responsible for liturgy planning and preparation on campus.

Qualifications Include

The Director must be a practicing Roman Catholic with a Master's degree in pastoral ministry, religious studies or theology, three years of experience in campus ministry, demonstrated pastoral skills and the ability to collaborate and foster community. Must be willing to travel and work evenings and weekends.
