Diocesan Director for Youth Ministry

The Roman Catholic Diocese of Worcester seeks qualified candidates for the full-time position of Director of the Office for Youth Ministry.  The director is responsible for a holistic approach to youth ministry that recognizes the cultural, ethnic, developmental, and spiritual diversity among Catholic young people. The director strengthens and supports adult leadership for youth ministry in diocesan, parish, school, and community settings so as to foster the total personal and spiritual growth of each young person. 

Candidates must be joyful Catholics in good standing who enthusiastically support the mission and needs of the Catholic Church as identified by the Bishop; possess a master’s degree in religious education, theology, pastoral ministry, or a related field; and have a minimum of five years professional ministry experience with youth.
