Job Description: The role of the campus minister at Elizabeth Seton Academy is to offer opportunities for the spiritual growth and empowerment of adolescent girls. Responsibilities include organizing retreats, coordinating prayer services and morning prayer, and facilitating opportunities for seasonal prayer and liturgies, social justice activities, reflections and discussions, and sacraments of liturgy and reconciliation. The campus minister works with and reports to the academy’s principal, and collaborates with other faculty and related club moderators. The campus minister is a teaching member of the theology department. Some night and weekend work is required.
Qualifications:
The campus minister must be a faith-filled practicing Catholic
Bachelor’s degree required, at a minimum
Desire to work with and empower young women
Excellent organizational skills
Excellent written and oral communications
Ability to work with others in collaboration and to empower others to ministry
Ability to work on many tasks at once
Imagination, creativity, flexibility and patience
