About:
Andrea Vicini is an alumnus of Boston College (S.T.L. and Ph.D.) and also holds a M.D. from the University of Bologna and a S.T.D. from the Pontifical Faculty of Theology of Southern Italy in Naples. Before arriving at the STM, Andrea was Gasson Professor at BC (2009-2010) and has taught in Italy, Albania, Mexico, Chad, and France. Lecturer and member of associations of moral theologians and bioethicists (in Italy, Europe, and the USA), his research interests include: fundamental moral theology, theological bioethics, biotechnologies, reproductive technologies, end of life issues, medical ethics, genetics, and environmental issues.
