School of Theology and Ministry

Dean's Welcome

file

Welcome to the School of Theology and Ministry at Boston College!

Here at the STM, we are a lively and friendly community of scholars and learners with easy access to the rich resources of one of America's most respected research universities. Our community of more than 400 students and 27 full-time and 30 part-time faculty members is deeply imbued with the Jesuit tradition of rigorous academic study and the formation of the person as a whole. Both of these Jesuit traditions are embodied by the faculty of our two departments and in the school's commitment to the comprehensive academic, pastoral, and spiritual formation of all of our students.

In addition to our own offerings, the STM is a member of the Boston Theological Institute, one of America's most respected consortia of divinity schools, graduate schools, and theological centers in which our students can take courses offered by faculty of other religious and faith traditions.

Once again, thank you for interest and welcome. Please let our admissions office know if you are interested in learning more about us.
