Biography
Ellen Bishop is a practicing Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner and currently serves as the Legislative co-Chair of the Massachusetts Coalition of Nurse Practitioners. She is a faculty member of the Connell School of Nursing at Boston College. In 2011 she was identified by the Schwartz Center as a Compassionate Caregiver. Ellen has spent several years working in underserved areas with a focus on providing high quality primary care services and health education within the community particularly with young women. Within her duties as Legislative co-Chair, she serves on the Analytical Group for the All Payer Claims Database working towards capturing full data of nurse practitioners contributions to patient care.
