BIOGRAPHY
Dr. Barone joined the Boston College faculty in the fall of 2002. She received her master’s degree in nursing from Boston University and her Ph.D. from Boston College in 1993. Dr. Barone’s clinical background is as a neuroscience advanced practice nurse, working with patients with traumatic spinal cord and brain injuries. Her research interests pertain to the physiological and psychosocial adaptation of patients living with debilitating neurological illnesses and facilitating their quality of life.
