For Students
william f. connell school of nursing
Dear Connell School Students:
Welcome to the William F. Connell School of Nursing where the Jesuit motto, Men and Women in Service to Others, takes hold. My name is Maureen Eldredge, and I am the associate director of student services at the Connell School. As someone who possesses two degrees from Boston College, both an undergraduate degree and a master's degree in pastoral ministry, I know firsthand the tremendous value of a Jesuit education.
The Boston College motto of Ever to Excel has broadened my horizons beyond the home, the neighborhood, and the classroom, taking me to new settings in the United States and abroad, where classroom knowledge became action. My responsibility to you as a student is to provide, support, service, and the skills that will empower you in your nursing education. Each one of you brings to our school different experiences, expertise, and diversity, all of which strengthens our community.
I am delighted that you have chosen the William F. Connell School of Nursing to prepare your healthcare practice in this increasingly global society. Your future is now and together we can make this happen. My door is always open, and of course I am just an email away as well. I look forward to hearing from you.
Warmly,
Maureen Eldredge
