Early diagnosis of Multiple Sclerosis can lead to improved quality of life for patients. This can only occur with primary care providers having knowledge of the early signs and symptoms. In this session, the speaker will discuss the pathophysiology of MS, diagnosis and evaluation as well as treatment options. Treatments including pharmaceuticals, physical therapy and the importance of lifestyle adaptations will be presented.
