In this day of antibiotic resistance, it has become increasingly important to select the appropriate antibiotic for initial therapy. Providers in the primary care setting are evaluating and treating both adults and children with respiratory, urologic and skin infections on a daily basis. In this session, common infections seen in the primary care setting will be presented. The pathogens typically responsible for these will be discussed as well as the best choices for therapy.
