This lecture will focus on the prevalence of opiate misuse and identification of patients who are at risk. Developing an approach to chronic pain, including safe prescribing and monitoring of opiates will be discussed.

“No child should suffer from a vaccine-preventable disease.” In this session, there will be a discussion of the current recommendations for vaccines, including associated risks and how to present this information to parents. There will be a special emphasis on adolescent vaccines.
