Clinical Research Certificate
bc continuing education
OVERVIEW
The clinical research fieldis a new, stimulating, and innovative career choice. As a result of the recent movement to speed drug and medical device development, the need for scientifically trained professionals - including careers as a Clinical Research Associate (CRA) or a Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) - to coordinate research studies has increased.
The U.S. Department of Labor reports that the demand for qualified CRA’s and CRC’s is expected to double over the next ten years. Professionals trained for these demanding careers are currently in short supply. Traditionally the preparation for these roles were through on-the-job training with physicians and scientists conducting pharmaceutical research.
Our Clinical Research Certificate Program includes a rigorous curriculum to prepare you for today's competitive marketplace.
