This practicum is designed for students who have completed Conversational Medical Spanish I, II and III. Students learn to take a complete health history in Spanish using functional health-pattern assessment tools. Under the direction of an NP, the practicum involves hands-on, interactive practice in a community center. Students work with Hispanic families, providing primary and secondary care. Pre/Co-requisite: Conversational Medical Spanish I & II & III.

Cancellation Policy

Requests to transfer payments to another course, and cancellations, are only accepted in writing (or by e-mail to sonce@bc.edu) four weeks prior to the start of the course.

Refund Policy

A refund (less $50 administrative costs) is provided only if a cancellation is requested in writing (or by e-mail to sonce@bc.edu) four weeks prior to the start of the course. No refunds will be made for cancellations requested after that date or for no-shows.
