This course is designed for students who have completed Conversational Medical Spanish I and II and are working toward a certificate in Medical Spanish. The class is conducted only in Spanish. It is designed to serve those in the medical professions who seek high-level conversational skills when dealing with Spanish-speaking patients and personnel. It presents everyday situations that medical students, pre-professionals, and professionals may encounter in work settings such as hospitals, emergancy rooms, laboratories and clinics. Students learn through role plays how to communicate and give instructions about important health issues. There are also readings and discussions on Hispanic cultural notes.

Pre/co-requiste: Conversational Medical Spanish I and II

A full refund (less $50 administrative costs) will be provided if your request is received in writing four weeks prior to the start of the course.  No refunds can be made thereafter.  No shows will receive neither a refund nor transfer credit.
