Completing the Online Application Form
Please read the following instructions completely prior to opening the online application form.
The online form should be submitted with either Internet Explorer or Firefox.
This is a time-sensitive document, since it contains personal information. Therefore, the document will time out if left open for longer than 30 minutes. You will receive a blank page and the form will need to be submitted again.
This form asks you to provide a Social Security Number, if you have a valid one through the U.S. government; otherwise, leave the field blank. Do not create a number.
After submitting the form you should receive a confirmation page indicating that your submission was successful. If a confirmation page does not immediately appear, please contact the Admissions Office (617-552-4928) to verify that the form was successfully submitted. Do not resubmit the form.
Prior to submitting your application, please be sure that you are applying to the correct term for your program and that you have applied within the application deadline. Deadlines and entrance terms for each program can be found here. Although each program has specific admission terms, the online application will not prevent students from selecting any term; therefore, it is very important that you are aware of when your program begins. Applicants who apply to an incorrect term run the risk of not being reviewed for the program.
Once submitted, the application will reset. Do not attempt to re-enter the application after it has been submitted. If you would like to include slight changes to information you provided in the submitted application, please contact the Graduate Office (617-552-4928).
We recommend that your print a copy for your records as well. If you experience problems submitting your application, please contact the graduate office at any time via email at firstname.lastname@example.org. Web Application Status Check
If you submitted the application form online, you should receive an email from BC containing a user name and password. To check the status of an application, applicants may log in to the Agora Portal. Through Agora you can check the status of your application by clicking on the Application Status tab. You may also contact the Graduate Office (617-552-4928). We do not contact applicants regarding missing application materials.
If you did not receive an email with your credentials, you can access the Web Application Status Check here. You will be asked to provide your assigned ID number or confirmation number you received from submitting the application form online.
