On Friday, March 16 Ph.D. students from the Graduate School of Social Work, Lynch School of Education, and William F. Connell School of Nursing gathered together to highlight doctoral student research. The goal of the conference is to bring together doctoral students and recent alumni from all three schools to share their doctoral research with one another and engage in scholarly dialogue about their research.

Six Connell School students participated in the conference by presenting posters. Deborah Washington, RN, M.S.N. was chosen as the Nursing School award winner by the interdisciplinary committee of academics for her presentation titled, "Investigating the Tipping Points for the Presence of Ethic Bias in Clinical Decision Making."

Holly Schindler, PhD, Lynch School of Education doctoral program graduate and postdoctoral fellow at Harvard University's Center on the Developing Child gave the keynote address, "Five decades of early childhood programs: What we know and where we go from here."
