“They had very little in common when nursing students from Boston College arrived in Leogane and met FSIL students.
“But through lively conversation and interactive teaching, these students from two different worlds came together with a new understanding of nursing in different cultures.
“ ‘I feel as though the educators and students were able to offer great insight into each other’s worlds of nursing,’ said Julia Roboff, MSN, FNP-BC, CPN, who led the instruction in pathophysiology.”
