The International Association of Forensic Nurses Scientific Assembly has named CSON Associate Professor Angela Amar as the 2010 Distinguished Fellow.

This award recognizes the significant contributions and accomplishments that Amar has achieved through her work to advance the forensic nursing profession of Forensic Nursing. Most notably, through her extensive research on interpersonal violence, Amar has come to see that there is much that can be done not only to assist victims and their loved ones, but also to prevent acts of violence and crime.
