The program in the Dominican Republic, which is still in the development stage, will address two very specific areas, continuing education and community health.   Our nursing partners and colleagues desire to improve their knowledge and skills in order to provide the best medical care possible.

In addition, our senior nursing students and nurse practitioner students would be able to collaborate and complete the requirements for their community health rotation while working within an already established community outreach program which works among the vulnerable population in LaRomana.

As more information becomes available on this service trip, it will be posted to this site.
