Stand Against Racism

connell school event

Friday, April 26, 2013 | 12:00 – 2:45 p.m. | Heights Room, Corcoran Commons

Join the CSON Diversity Advisory Board to help Stand Against Racism. Board members, faculty, students, and community members will join together in support of the YWCA’s effort to raise awareness about racism.

This event will provide a forum to stimulate and enhance awareness about the centrality of education as a social determinant of health for nurses, nursing students, alumni, and community members. It will also give nurse leaders an opportunity to give language to and hear various meanings related to being and/or becoming an educated nurse leader who takes a stand against racism and advocates for social justice
