Principal Satisfaction
When surveyed in the spring of 2010, 100% of principals and assistant principals reported being satisfied with City Connects as a whole and would recommend the program to a principal in another school. They cited several School Site Coordinator activities that were particularly supportive of teachers, such as assisting with behavior challenges in the classroom, following up on service referrals, and facilitating parent meetings.
The majority of principals felt that City Connects also improved their relationships with community partners (86%). They note that Coordinators help maintain communication with agencies, follow up to secure services, and coordinate agency work in the school.
