Impact on Community Agencies
Not only does City Connects support students and families, but community agencies themselves are benefiting. Our community partners report that they are substantially more satisfied with the quality (i.e., communication, referrals, and follow-up) and effectiveness of their partnership (i.e., meeting goals, tailoring services, and providing student support) with City Connects schools than non- City Connects schools. We work with more than 200 community agency partners throughout Boston.
- 94% of community partners surveyed after the 2009-10 academic year report that they are generally satisfied with their relationship with City Connects
- 98% of respondents agreed that the City Connects student support process is effective at identifying students’ needs
- 94% would recommend a partnership with City Connects to other community agencies
