Services and Support
boston college campus school
General
The Boston College Campus School serves learners with multiple disabilities, including complex health care needs. The program provides student-centered, educational and therapeutic services in a school-based setting. Using a transdisciplinary approach, student growth is achieved through the development of a both stimulating and challenging instructional environment tailored to the needs of the individual. An integrated service delivery model is emphasized to address the full range of student needs across all environments, maximizing opportunities for carryover of all student goals and objectives throughout the day.
Staff
Our classroom Master Teachers are M.Ed. certified in Severe Special Needs. Additionally, there are two Assistant Teachers in each classroom, many of the whom are enrolled in masters degree programs in related fields at Boston College. We are also fortunate to have graduate and undergraduate student interns from a variety of universities in the greater Boston area. Teachers and related services staff collaborate to integrate goals and objectives throughout the school day and across activities.
Therapies
Services include special education, physical therapy, communication therapy, occupational therapy, music therapy, transition skills, vision services and health care. Please refer to the left navigation column for more details on each of the therapies available at the Campus School.
