The Boston College Campus School is a private, non-profit, publicly funded, special-education day school for students ages 3-21 with multiple disabilities. Many of our students also have complex health care needs. Our program utilizes a transdisciplinary approach to meet the educational, therapeutic, and health care needs of our students.

In general, Boston College Campus School (BCCS) follows the typical Newton Public School calendar during the months of September through June, with a four-week summer session in July. School is in session from 8:30 am to 3:00 pm on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. On Wednesday, classes are dismissed at 1:00 pm.
History
The Boston College Campus School was founded in 1970 to provide special education and related services to youths with severe multiple disabilities whose needs were not being met in their own community school programs, and as a training site for Boston College students. Our program provides student-centered educational, therapeutic, and health care services in a school-based setting to promote student growth in a stimulating environment, using challenging instruction tailored to the needs of the individual.

Location, Facilities & Directions
The school is located in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts, on the beautiful Boston College Campus. We are housed within the Lynch School of Education, in Campion Hall. We also have a Transition Skills classroom in McGuinn Hall. The university setting provides access to libraries, including the School of Education's Educational Resource Center (ERC), the Recreation Complex, and the Media Technology Center, as well as an outdoor playground and leisure area. The program owns two wheelchair vans to provide community experiences for our students.

The Boston College Campus School is licensed by the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education and is a member of Massachusetts Association of Chapter 766 Approved Private Schools (MAAPS).
