Dual Degree Programs
Applicants interested in one of our dual programs must file two separate applications, one to the Lynch School and one to the other unit, following the guidelines, observing the application deadlines, and meeting the application requirements established by each unit. In order to enter into a dual-degree program, applicants must first be admitted to both schools.
Fifth Year/Early Admit Program
For Boston College Undergraduates: the Fifth Year/Early Admit Program offers academically outstanding Boston College juniors a unique opportunity to begin graduate study during their undergraduate senior year, allowing them to graduate with a bachelor's and master's degree in an accelerated amount of time. All undergraduate juniors are eligible to apply.
Boston College is committed to urban education in the both the surrounding neighborhoods and global community. Through the Lynch School s extensive partnerships and associations, there are many ways to become involved and exposed to urban education.

Catholic Leadership Programs
The Lynch School of Education and the School of Theology and Ministry have partnered to offer joint degree programs in Catholic Educational Leadership across the educational spectrum, from schools K-12 to institutions of higher education.
Catholic Leadership Degree Programs:
M.A. in Higher Education, Catholic University Leadership
M.Ed. in Educational Leadership, Catholic School Leadership
Some graduate programs allow students the option of adding additional special certification to their program of study.
Students may add the following certificates to their degree programs:
Teaching English Language Learners Certificate
Human Rights and International Justice Certificate
