Check the Status of Your Application

The application process to the Lynch School of Education is self-managed. As potential graduate students, applicants are responsible for collecting and submitting all necessary application materials by the designated program deadline.
It is the applicant's responsibility to check the status of an application. Applicants may contact the Office of Graduate Admission or log into the Agora Portal to ensure that everything has been successfully received.
*It takes 7-10 days from the time of mailing for transcripts to appear in the Applicant Status section of the Agora Portal.
Checking your status in the Agora Portal
Once you submit your application form you should receive an email with your BC Credentials (username and Eagle ID) within 48 hours of submitting the form.
Once you have received your BC Credentials, you can log on to the Agora Portal and select the "Applicant Status" menu option (under the Account and Personal Info section).
You can use the Agora Portal to:
- Check the status of your application
- Pay your application fee (if applicable)
- Upload pdf versions of your statement of purpose, resume, and writing sample (if applicable)
If you do not see the "Applicant Status" menu option on your Agora menu, please contact the Office of Graduate Admission.
The Office is Graduate Admission is also available to help you check the status of your application over the phone or by email.
Your BC Credentials
Your BC Credentials include your BC Username and Eagle ID.
Please note: If you have applied to BC (any of the graduate schools) or have been a student (undergraduate or graduate) at BC in the past, your credentials should be the same as the previously were. If you do not remember them, you can contact the Office of Graduate Admission.
If you know your former BC Credentials and are having trouble logging into Agora, you can contact the BC Help Center in order to reset your password.
