interdisciplinary majors
The HUMAN DEVELOPMENT INTERDISCIPLINARY MAJOR offers three areas of focus and is available as a second major to students in the Lynch School of Education who are pursuing Elementary Education, in fulfillment of their arts and sciences program requirements for certification. This interdisciplinary major is not an option for students majoring in Secondary Education. The interdisciplinary major is intended to provide students with a background in the fields of developmental counseling and educational psychology focusing on three areas:
- Human Services
- Organization Studies/Human Resources
- Community, Advocacy and Social Policy
