The GENERAL SCIENCE INTERDISCIPLINARY MAJOR (27 credits) is available as a second major to students in the Lynch School of Education who are pursuing Elementary Education or Human Development. This major fulfills the arts and sciences program requirements for students pursuing teacher certification. This major is not an option for students in Secondary Education.
The major is designed for students seeking a broad and general background in general science to help them teach in an early childhood, elementary, or special education setting.
