Director & Certification Officer

Fran Loftus oversees the placement of all full practicum student teachers, professional development of the Clinical Faculty supervisors, serves as an advisor for graduate students enrolled in the Donovan Urban Teaching Scholars Program, and directs special collaborative projects in conjunction with the Department of Teacher Education, Special Education and Curriculum & Instruction. Fran's areas of interest include multicultural education, clinical supervision, reading and literacy, & school-college collaboration.

Assistant Director

Melita Malley manages placement of all pre-practicum student teachers, recruitment and training of the Graduate Assistant Teachers, coordinates the Special Issues in Teaching lecture series, and communication with K-12 partnership schools.

Associate Director, Mentoring & Induction
Amy Ryan directs special projects and programs connected to professional development and mentoring student teachers & beginning teachers. Her current work includes the Summer Technology Academy, a professional development conference for Catholic K-8 teachers in collaboration with the Roche Center for Catholic Education and the Catholic Schools Foundation, an August conference for beginning K-12 teachers (New Teacher Academy), and a three-year grant from the Aurthur Vining Davis Foundations to create an online community to foster the exchange of lessons and resources for current students, alumni, and teachers in Lynch School partnership schools.
