Master's Degree Requirements

master of education (m.ed.) or c.a.e.s.

All M.Ed. students take the same six core classes in educational leadership and one elective in educational research.

Non-Licensure students take an additional three elective classes for a total program of study of 30 credits.

Students seeking licensure take one required three credit course in the principalship (ED617), a six credit practicum, and a three credit seminar accompanying the practicum. The total number of credits required for students seeking licensure along with the Master's is 33 credits. At the conclusion of the program of study, all students sit for a comprehensive examination.
