Master of Education (M.ED.) or C.A.E.S.
The Educational Leadership Licensure Program is committed to preparing the next generation of effective P-12 educational leaders. The Program seeks to develop aspiring principals who can provide leadership for learning, create fair and meaningful opportunities to learn for all students, are knowledgeable about standards-based reform and technological advances, and employ evidence- based practices. The Program is committed to preparing school leaders who can collaborate effectively, foster leadership in others, and successfully engage families and community members. We seek to instill in our graduates a deep concern for human dignity, social justice, and responsible global citizenship.
The Department of Educational Leadership and Higher Education offers two tracks towards obtaining a Master's Degree of Educational Leadership.
Masters of Education (For students who do not currently hold a Master's Degree in Education)
Certificate of Advanced Educational Studies (C.A.E.S.: For Students who currently hold a Master's Degree in Education)
Please Note: The Educational Leadership Licensure Program has received licensure approval from the Department of Secondary and Elementary Education (ESE).
