An Important Message from Interim Dean Maureen Kenny
Dear Members of the Lynch School Community,
As with citizens across the country, we are stunned and horrified by the school shootings of December 14. This tragic event is particularly disturbing to many of us who work with children in schools, with teachers and school leaders, with families, and with mental health professionals. At a time of year when we typically experience joy, we are also feeling profound sorrow.
As a community, our processing of this event will take time. We want to make you aware of resources on campus that are available at this time. Please be aware that university counseling services are available for students who may need additional support.
In addition, Lynch School students who have special concerns, should contact Associate Dean of Students, Dr. Elizabeth Sparks at sparks@bc.edu. Her office is located in the Graduate Office (135 Campion Hall).
