Commencement Exercises are a two-part ceremony. The University Commencement (main ceremony) will start with the procession at 9:15 a.m. followed by the ceremony at 10:00 a.m. The University Commencement is attended by all graduates. President Fr. William Leahy, S.J. addresses the graduates, confers honorary degrees, and, through student representatives, confers the appropriate degrees on all graduates. The Commencement Speaker delivers the Commencement address.
Immediately following the University Wide Commencement is the the Lynch School of Education Diploma Ceremony at 12:00 noon on the Campus Green (Stokes Lawn). Diplomas are distributed to graduates at the Diploma Ceremonies.

The LSOE Graduate Student Reception will be held at 5pm in Gasson Hall on Sunday afternoon prior to Commemceent. Graduates and their families are invited. Refreshments and hors d'oeuvre will be served. Please indicate your attendance on the Commemcenet Reply Form linked below. Those invited to the LSOE Awards & Robing Ceremony will be contacted seperately.
