“Encounters with the Other and with Ourselves:” May 2 Panel to Feature Garcia, Barrozo
Newton, MA--The Boston College McMullen Museum of Art’s new exhibit “Portugal, Jesuits and Japan: Spiritual Beliefs and Earthly Goods” offers many opportunities to reflect on the nature of faith, commerce and culture, both in the sixteenth century and today. This remarkably fertile period was also quite influential in the development of modern international law, and Boston College Law School Professors Paulo Barrozo and Frank J. Garcia will address these themes in a panel on “Encounters with the Other and with Ourselves.”
