First-Year Orientation Schedule
On Friday, August 24, the first orientation session will begin at 1:00 p.m. in room 115A/B, East Wing and ends at 5:00 p.m
Other orientation events will occur throughout your first week of classes. Your regular classes will begin on Monday, August 27 at 9:50 a.m. The orientation schedule can be downloaded here.
The Class of 2015 is divided into three sections, Each "main section" is further divided for Legal Reasoning, Research and Writing (LRRW). During the Fall semester, first-year classes are scheduled between the hours of 9:50 a.m. and 2:45 p.m. Monday-Friday. All first-year students are automatically registered for their fall semester classes by Academic Services.
In the spring semester, classes will run later in the day due to the electives scheduling.

In late August, you can find your preliminary section assignment by using Agora, B.C.'s Intranet environment, to view your current schedule. To access Agora, log on to http://agora.bc.edu/login/menu or select "Agora" from the pull down menu at BC Law School's home page, http://www.bc.edu/schools/law. Enter your username (provided by Student Services), enter your temporary password which is the first eight digits of your social security number, and then click on "sign in". You will then be asked to reset your password. To view your schedule, choose "U-view Your Personal Records" from the "My Services" menu, and then click on current schedule to view your courses. If your course numbers end in 01, you are in Section I, 02 is Section 2, and 03 is Section 3. This section assignment is subject to change and section assignments are not finalized until the beginning of classes. You will be given your class schedule during 1L Orientation indicating the section for the first year courses to which you have been assigned.

First Day Assignments
Assignment for the first class, beginning August 27, will be sent to you via email by your professor. Some professors do not post an assignment for the first class, so do not worry if you do not see anything posted.
Legal Reasoning, Research and Writing
LRRW sections will be assigned by 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 28.
BC Law Bookstore and Book Lists
Books for all law school courses are stocked at the BC Law Bookstore located in the basement of Stuart House, rm. KCL119.
To view the book list for your section, click on your section number.
Beginning September 10th
Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, Eagle Bucks, debit cards, cash and personal check are accepted with a Student ID and/or valid driver's license.
Section assignments are subject to change and are not finalized until the beginning of classes. If your section changes and you have already purchased your textbooks from our bookstore, you may return your textbooks. Full refunds will be given through Tuesday, September 4, 2012 for fall textbook purchases. All refunds require an original receipt. When returning new books, please make sure that they are not damaged, and that there is no writing, highlighting, or underlining. Shrink wrapped materials must not be opened where indicated by the store with a "No Returns if Unwrapped" sticker.
No refunds will be given for books bought during the week of midterms or finals.

Eagle-One Student ID Cards
The Eagle-One Card is the official Boston College ID. It allows you access to facilities and services all over campus. For information on how to obtain an Eagle-One Card, please click here.
Student lockers are available starting Friday, August 24.
