BC Law Hosts Sir John Baker at Legal History Roundtable

Newton, MA--Sir John Baker of Saint Catharine’s College, University of Cambridge, presented at the Boston College Law School Legal History Roundtable on Thursday, Nov 1, 2012.
Sir John Baker is perhaps the foremost living historian of English law. He has published numerous articles and books, including Introduction to English Legal History, and has received countless awards for his work, including knighthood in 2003.
Professor Baker spoke on “The Legal History Nobody Knows--the difficulty of answering some historical questions when the records don't help (or actually mislead).”
