Newton, MA—Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly (MLW) has named six BC Law graduates out of a total of 50 in their “Top Women of Law” list.

According to MLW’s website, the list is meant to celebrate women “who have made great professional strides and demonstrated outstanding accomplishments in private practice, the corporate arena and social advocacy.”

The list was announced at an event held on October 12, 2012
at the Hynes Convention Center in Boston. This year’s keynote speaker was Suzanne M. Bump, the 25th Auditor of the commonwealth, one of six constitutional officers in Massachusetts, and the first female elected to this role in the state’s history.
